Heading to Chamonix this winter ? Then why not come along to one of our free Avalanche Awareness Presentations ?

The presentations last about an hour and are given by an IFMGA qualified Guide based in the Chamonix Valley. They key topics covered are the causes of avalanches, how to avoid them, and what to do if you get caught in one.

The lectures take place in Chamonix at the Bighorn Bar and Bistro on Monday evenings, starting 9th December and finishing 20th Jan.

This will be the 8th season that we have been delivering these lectures and they are very popular. So popular in fact that you do have to book in advance. It is free, but we have to limit numbers due to capacity.
