Our FREE Avalanche Awareness Lectures started last winter in Chamonix. We delivered 12 lectures throughout the season, imparting potentially life-saving knowledge to well over 300 people.
In fact, they were so well received that we've been asked to go to Morzine this season and spread the good news there too.
So, next Tuesday (11 Dec) we will be giving a FREE Avalanche Awareness Lecture in Morzine. The venue is Beanies Coffee and Ski Shop(116 Rue du Bourg). The lecture starts at 6pm, and will last for around 45 minutes. Demand is going to be high for this one-off event, so get there early to get the best seats and grab a coffee.
After the lecture we will be sticking around for a while, so if you want some advice on what safety gear to buy we will be able to help you. Looking forward to seeing you there - please help spread the word on Facebook and Twitter !
For those of you visiting Chamonix this season we will begin our winter lecture series on Monday night (10 Dec) at La Terrasse in the town centre, starting at 6.15pm. The lectures will be at the same time every week EXCEPT CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEAR WEEKS when they will be on the Sunday night (we didn't think Christmas Eve and New Year's eve would be too popular!). They will run until 11 March 2013. Again, please get there early, and show your support for the Terrasse by getting a drink at the bar.
Have a safe season folks.........
